There are many kinds of carpet crafts, which are basically divided into three categories, namely mechanically woven carpets, tufted carpets, and handmade carpets.

1. Hand-woven carpets

2. Tufted carpet

It is formed by a row of reciprocating needles of the tufting machine driving the wool through the bottom of the first layer of carpet. The strong loop piles are called loop pile carpets, which are cut open during production. It is called a velveteen carpet, where part of the loop pile is cut but some is not, called a flat loop cut pile carpet.

3. Non-woven carpet

Use sewing, crochet, needle punching and other methods to plant the wool on the pre-woven base fabric, and then fix the wool with raw rubber to make it. Among them, handmade carpets are more expensive, and then to tufted carpets, the cheapest is non-woven carpets.
