In the field of industrial textiles, polypropylene high-strength yarn is a type of chemical fiber product characterized by high tensile strength. Compared with ordinary polypropylene filament, this kind of fiber achieves higher breaking strength and impact resistance by optimizing the stretching process and orientation degree. 

From a production perspective, the stretching ratio and heat setting temperature of polypropylene high-strength yarns directly affect their mechanical performance. Usually, a multi-pass heat roller stretching method is adopted to make the molecular chains align more regularly along the fiber axis. The breaking strength of the finished single filament can reach over 6 grams per denier, which can meet the load-bearing requirements in industrial weaving. At the same time, during the production process, tension fluctuations need to be controlled to avoid the occurrence of weak fibers or hair fibers. These details directly affect the breakage rate in the downstream weaving process. 

In terms of application scenarios, polypropylene high-strength yarn is widely used as the material for flexible container bags, lifting belts, safety ropes and conveyor belt frames. Taking lifting belts as an example, the belt body woven with high-strength polypropylene yarn is soft on the surface and does not damage the items being lifted. It also has good corrosion resistance and is widely used in ports, logistics and chemical workshops. Another common application is geogrids. The grids made of polypropylene high-strength yarn play a role in distributing stress in soft foundation reinforcement and slope protection projects. 

When using polypropylene high-strength yarn, several technical points need to be noted. First, the knot strength. The retention rate of strength at the knot location is usually lower than the direct pulling strength. Therefore, in weaving, mechanical knotting or sewing methods should be preferred. Second, the anti-rheological property. Under long-term stress conditions, high-strength polypropylene yarn will undergo slow deformation. Safety factors should be reserved in engineering design. Third, the temperature limit. When the temperature exceeds 120 degrees Celsius, the fiber strength will significantly decrease. The usage environment should avoid high-temperature heat sources.
