　　 According to monitoring, towels have two main risks: one is tetrachlorophenol/pentachlorophenol. Tetrachlorophenol/pentachlorophenol is widely used in the production process of towel products as preservatives and antifungal agents. Excessive tetrachlorophenol/pentachlorophenol has a strong irritating effect on the eyes, mucous membranes, respiratory tract and skin of infants and young children. If it is inhaled into the body, symptoms such as cough, headache, nausea, etc. may occur. In severe cases, it may cause pharyngitis or bronchitis, edema, Spasms and so on. In addition, pentachlorophenol is also an insecticide and sterilizing agent. The International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization included pentachlorophenol in the list of Class I carcinogens. The second is sensitizing dyes. Brightly colored towel products will use a lot of dyes. A large number of studies have shown that there are 27 kinds of allergenic dyes. Excessive allergenic dyes may cause skin, mucous membrane or respiratory allergies after being inhaled by infants and young children.

　　 First, try to choose regular channels to buy towels. Choose products with comprehensive and standardized labeling content, and avoid buying towel products without manufacturer, tag or washing label.

　　 The second is to observe the appearance when purchasing. You can smell the smell of towels and choose towel products that are odor-free; feel the texture of the towels, high-quality towels are fluffy and soft, with clear printing and dyeing patterns, and inconspicuous color difference.

　　 The third is to wash before use. It is recommended to stop using it if it is found to be bleached, severely depilated, or the color of the dark towel is still fading after repeated washing.

　　Four is fair use. Towels should be used reasonably and replaced regularly; after use, try to dry them in a ventilated and dry place to avoid breeding of bacteria.
